Graduation Requirements

To graduate from Hiram Johnson High School, students must:

• Successfully complete all state and district academic requirements

• Meet credit benchmark: 225 credits

• Pass the Defense of Learning (May 2026)

📅 Key Dates

• Graduation Ceremony: Tuesday, June 9, 10:00 AM

• Senior Checkout Day: Friday, June 5

• Senior Finals Week (regular school schedule): Monday, June 1-Thursday, June 4

• Last Day of Class Attendance: Thursday, June 4

• Cap & Gown Distribution: Wednesday, June 3, lunch in the Library

• Rehearsal: Zoom Information Session, Wednesday, June 3, 5:00 PM (attendance required)

📍 Ceremony Details

• Location: Golden One Center, 500 David J Stern Walk, Sacramento, CA 95814

• Seating: Each student receives 10 tickets for the ceremony

• Live Stream: Link for those unable to attend in person
